Globetrotter Quicksilver 'Sugar' is a pretty grey 4yr old mare, at present she is iron grey with one white sock and hoof on her near hind, though she is greying out fairly quickly. ‘Sugar’ was weaned from her dam Monkfields Faye in December 2004. Her Sire: Orton Hall Dennis was a good stallion, he is now doing well on the carriage driving circuit in the UK as a gelding. 'Sugar' is handled every day for a couple of hours and is sometimes “auntie” to the younger ponies. Having done much handling with ‘Sugar’ we have realised that she is a very intelligent character and is already telling you, in her body language, her likes and dislikes. She is my daughters pony and she is hoping that they will both have the opportunity to do side-saddle classes in the next few years.
Sugar produced a nice grey filly foal on the 25th April 2008. Sire is our grey stallion Murthwaite Tikka. Sugar has been running out with our black stallion Dene Teviot this season, and is in foal for 2009.
