‘Lady’ is a quality bay 13hh mare, with good flat bone, straight action, is stocky in build and hardy. We bought ‘Lady’ from Cumbria, England in May 2007, she has settled in well with both us and the other ponies. 'Lady' is a nice forward going ride, having an alert and intelligent approach to work. Lady had success in Cumbria in 2006 winning the trotting races held that year in both the junior and senior races with Emma and Jessica Woolley.
'Lady' has some good breeding, with such great Fell stallions as her grandsire Greenfield Gay Lad, as well as Heltondale Hero, Waverhead Rob, and Waverhead Model. She also has a good female line of Waterstolls, Greenfield and Heltondale breeding.
Lady has been running out with Dene Teviot for this Spring / Summer, and is holding in foal to him.
Lady competed in her first ridden Le Trec competition on the 23rd March 2008 with great success, finishing 2nd overall in her section.
